Pilotlight is delighted to announce the appointment of Alison Forrestal as its new Chair of Trustees. Effective from January 2025, Alison will succeed Sally Bailey, who has led the Board with energy, dedication and vision over the past six years.
Alison Forrestal brings over 25 years of experience in leadership roles at Diageo, Amazon and Immediate Media, with specific expertise in developing customer-led innovation and growth strategies, along with a strong commitment to advance Pilotlight’s mission.
Sally Bailey, current Chair of the Trustees said:
I am extremely sad to be stepping down at the end of this year but have every faith that Alison will bring her dedication and passion to Pilotlight, carrying on the great work myself and the Board have done to accelerate Pilotlight’s ambitions.
Alison Forrestal commented:
I am honoured to step into this role at Pilotlight. Together with the Board, we will build on the strong foundation laid by Sally Bailey and work to ensure that Pilotlight continues to thrive in its mission to make a difference to those who need it most.
Alison is also Chair of Kudos Innovations, Trustee at Blue Cross and a Non-Executive Director at Learning with Experts.
