Blackburn Youth Zone is a new state of the art facility located in the Blackburn Town Centre, providing world-class resources that make a real and positive difference to the young people of the Borough. Blackburn Youth Zone is open 7days per week and aims to attract 1,000 young people per week, aged 5-19, through a range of different sessions. The Youth Zone formula is sports, music, dance, arts and youth work as a core universal offer. In addition to this they also operate thirteen weeks of holiday provision. They pride themselves on having a membership that reflects the borough’s demographic and have been successful in making a reality of community cohesion. It is one of the few places in the Borough where young people from all backgrounds can come together naturally.
