VisionPK, a small charity working to support people who are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing across Perth & Kinross. It is the only charity in Perth & Kinross with the specific aim of helping people with sensory impairments.

Leanne Scobie, CEO at VisionPK, reached out to Pilotlight because she needed help in achieving effective data management. She was matched with a team of technical managers via our Make an Impact programme, a programme we run in partnership with one of our Partner Businesses.

What we did

The team consulted, analysed and then designed a bespoke, data management tool and user guide for the charity. The tool created could both captured the charity’s data efficiently, as well as create reports for their funders and boards. This has helped the charity save time, improve data management efficiency and accuracy.

The system the team implemented is user friendly, allowing all users access to the required information in a timelier manner. The dedicated and friendly project team made the project a pleasurable experience and delivered exactly what was required.
