Accommodation Concern, founded in 1987, works to prevent and relieve poverty and homelessness in Northamptonshire. It provides supported housing for people who have found themselves homeless and need help to develop independent living skills and be able to manage their own tenancy. It also provides free, impartial, and non-judgemental, information, advice, guidance and practical support to manage money, deal with problem debt, claim eligible benefits and resolve housing issues, including evictions and tenancy disputes. It believes in providing a holistic service and tackling the root cause of a beneficiary’s issue to truly engender long term sustainable change. It empowers individuals to move out of debt, out of hunger, out of poverty and out of homelessness.
