Arts for Recovery in the Community, or simply ‘Arc’, is one of the UK’s leading arts & mental health charities. Its vision is one of healthy & happy communities. It delivers services that provide opportunities for acutely vulnerable people to recover from a critical period of mental illness. Its work is targeted at the most vulnerable within communities, recognising the value of creativity to self-worth, resilience & confidence. This is achieved through the delivery of high impact creative programmes across Stockport and Greater Manchester that improve people's mental health, build connection and belonging and provide opportunities for people to come together around shared creative interests.
