Cumbria Alcohol and Drug Advisory Service (CADAS) improves the health and wellbeing of Cumbrian communities by reducing harmful alcohol and drug use. It provides therapeutic interventions to substance users and their families to address the reasons for their substance use, working to find sustainable solutions to their problems. It offers advice and guidance for all ages surrounding substance use and addiction, including schools throughout Cumbria. It has established a variety of partnerships which offer wider opportunities for those affected by addictions, helping to build resilient recovery. Its holistic support is for all parties affected by addiction. It supports children impacted by parental addiction and other family members such as spouses or carers who may be adversely affected by a loved one's addictive behaviours.
