Eagle’s Nest Project is a charity set up to provide alternative education solutions for young people on the margins of mainstream. The charity works with 11-18 year olds who are unable to engage effectively in mainstream education as a result of social, emotional and mental health issues. Many are, or have previously been, looked after by their local authority. The charity believes every individual has potential, and its goal is to help young people who have had a difficult start to realise this for themselves and gain a positive education experience. The trauma-informed approaches help the charity's students to develop the skills and confidence to manage their emotions more effectively in order to support better life choices moving forward.
Eagle's Nest Project is participating Pilotlight 360. For stories from the programme take a look at the case studies.
