The Edward Lloyd Trust supports adults, children and young people with a learning disability to have a good life. It supports people in their own homes with all aspects of their daily life including personal care, social activities, educational, health, and emotional wellbeing in addition to community enabling support. Its aim is for everyone with a learning disability to live in a welcoming community that provides friendship, mutual support, equality and opportunities. It strives to facilitate individuals to be engaged as much as possible in their own lives by increasing independence, choice and confidence, enabling them to be visible and active in their communities, recognising the skills and attributes people have, rather than deficits, and providing support to bridge the gap between what they can and can’t do.
