MECOPP supports Minority Ethnic carers to access the supports and services necessary to undertake or sustain a caring role. MECOPP provides a range of services from the Carers Centre in Edinburgh as well as specialist support to Informal carers in the Gypsy/Traveller community in Perth and Kinross, Mid and North Argyll. MECOPP is also funded by the Scottish Government to build the capacity of local authorities and health boards to support Minority Ethnic carers more effectively.
