The Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) is a long standing and distinguished charity dedicated to improving nursing in the home and community. Founded in 1887 by the Rathbone family, the QNI exists to ensure that patients nursed at home and in the community receive high quality care. It does this by supporting community nurses in their work and funding innovations to improve services. It also plays a key role influencing policy-makers and governments in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and campaigning to improve the quality of nursing care in the home. Based in London, the QNI is a thriving charity with strong financial foundations and governance arrangements.
The QNI has participated in Pilotlight Insight, Pilotlight Direction and Pilotlight 360.
