Wirral Mencap offers information, advice, support, training and personal development opportunities for people with a learning disability and those who support them. Everything the charity does is designed to improve the quality of life of people with a learning disability and their families. Its team of paid staff and volunteers work hard to achieve excellence in everything they do, and the charity's reputation is one of strong collaboration and respect.
Although the organisation has existed since the 1960s, it only started to employ paid staff and deliver professional services in 2012. Since then the organisation has grown and developed and is now a stable organisation with a bright future and ambitions to do more and to do it better.
