Women Acting in Today’s Society

Women Acting in Today’s Society is a Birmingham charity focusing on providing services to women, primarily those who have experienced domestic abuse. The charity also does significant work with female ex-offenders, helping them to integrate into the community. There is a lot of overlap between these groups, as a staggering 90% of female offenders have experienced domestic abuse. The charity works with over 120 women each year.
