Congratulations to everyone on the Pilotlight-RBS Graduate Programme!
The projects kicked off in April and culminated with the grad teams presenting their work to a panel of Judges last Thursday, 24th September. The winner was The Nehemiah Project, whose grad team developed a corporate partnership package.
Since 2011 Pilotlight has run a programme with RBS Early Careers, where teams of the bank’s graduates work with Pilotlight Partner Charities for six months on a defined project, delivering outputs from new marketing materials and to new funding streams. The programme allows the graduates to gain experience in a different sector and make a difference at the same time.
48 graduates from across RBS volunteered their time and skills to tackle a charity’s issue. Alongside Nehemiah, the participating charities were Community Transport Waltham Forest, CAAS, Studio Upstairs, LDX and 1st Place Children & Parent Centre.
"I really realised how much of an impact we have had and that is really rewarding" - Bansri Dhokia, graduate participant 2014 & winner 2015
