Pilotlight is delighted to announce a new partnership with Virgin Media.
13 senior leaders from the company will participate in the yearlong Pilotlight 360, sharing their business expertise to support a range of causes through the challenges they face, whilst developing their own leadership skills.
Virgin Media supports Pilotlight’s fundamental goal to connect the business and charitable worlds together to transform the lives of disadvantaged people across the UK. In 2019, our flagship skills-sharing programme, the Pilotlight 360, benefited the lives of 1.4 million service users.
Claire Giraldo, Head of Leadership Development at Virgin Media, said:
We are proud to be working in partnership with Pilotlight and are delighted that we currently have 13 leaders supporting and working with small UK charities through the programme. This partnership allows our leaders to use their expertise and collaboration skills with other leaders to help charities become more efficient and sustainable as well as develop their leadership and coaching skills. It's a winning formula and has translated well to a remote and virtual team environment. I can’t wait to see the impact that our leaders make to the charity partner and also their own development.
Bruce McCombie, Deputy Chief Executive at Pilotlight, said:
We are excited to be partnering with Virgin Media again, using the business skills of their employees to widen the pool of expertise we can offer to our charity partners. I have no doubt this partnership will drive significant outcomes for the charities and the Virgin Media Pilotlighters.
