Tell us about your journey with Pilotlight?
When I came across Pilotlight, I felt that its values are highly aligned with my own. As an executive coach I am passionate about helping senior leaders unlock their full potential, and the opportunity to help smaller charities to get to the next level was a perfect fit with my desire to help deserving causes in a tangible way.
How would you describe your experience so far?
I’ve been a Pilotlighter since 2019 and having a great team makes a huge difference to the entire experience. Having the right mindset and group dynamics as the senior level of a charity really sets a positive atmosphere for everyone involved.
What motivates you through the Pilotlight 360 project journey?
Whilst the early phases of Pilotlight 360 can seem slow moving, once the momentum gets going it is always a source of pride to see how quickly impactful positive changes appear.
What impact has Pilotlight had on you, both personally and professionally?
Getting to know a charity and its committed team of allowed me to appreciate how complex it can be to assist the communities they seek to help, and some of the unexpected obstacles that have to overcome. On a personal front, I have made some amazing friends with other fellow Pilotlighters and I now have a much greater appreciation of the challenges in fundraising. Charities have to be incredibly resourceful and creative, and are tremendously good at addressing society needs that all too often fall through the cracks.
Describe Pilotlight 360 in 3 words?
